Saxon announce new 2023 tour dates

Saxon

Saxon was forced to cancel some tour dates scheduled in the first months of the year after the guitarist Paul Quinn announced his retirement from touring. The group took some time to find a replacement and rehearse to make sure everything sounded right.

Now they are already back on the road with the Diamond Head guitarist Brian Tatler occupying Quinn’s post. The group that already has scheduled dates in Europe also announced they return to South American next November.

Quinn was the only member of the group alongside the vocalist Biff Byford that was part of all the band’s studio albums. Their current line-up has Byford (Vocals), Nigel Glocker (Drums), Nibbs Carter (Bass), Doug Scarratt (Guitar) and Brian Tatler (Touring guitarist).

The group will perform in these dates many of their classic songs and also tracks from their latest original studio album “Carpe Diem” (2022).
