Rod Stewart teamed up with the famous TV host and musician Jools Holland to record a new album called “Swing Fever”, which will have 13 covers of classic big band numbers. Holland was originally a member of the British band Squeeze but also worked with famous artists like Sting, George Harrison, David Gilmour and Ringo Starr. Since the early 80s he has been a famous TV host in the United Kingdom.
The album will be released next February 23, The first single “Almost Like Being In Love” is already available.
The official statement said: “Jools Holland and I are very excited to present our brand new album ‘Swing Fever’, a 13-track sparkling salute to the timeless songs of the big band years. The album will be released 23rd February and is available to pre-order now on various formats,” they said.

Jools Holland also continues to release solo albums and his most recent one is “A Lovely Life To Live”, made with Marc Almond. Besides being a TV host, he also wrote scores for movies and TV.
