Kobe Bryant Career

It is no exaggeration to say that Kobe Bean Bryant was one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. He appeared in the Los Anegeles Lakers in 1996. The winger played his entire life on the California team. Throughout his career, he won five NBA titles (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010) and two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012). In addition, he was elected the MVP (most valuable player) of the NBA regular season in 2008 and the league finals in 2009 and 2010 – no wonder, he had the two numbers he used (8 and 24) retired by the Lakers.

Eighteen times chosen for the NBA All-Star Game, Kobe scored 33,643 career points – the fourth highest mark in NBA history. He occupied the top 3 until last Saturday, when, curiously, he was overtaken by LeBron James.

Even off the court Kobe Bryant was awarded. In March 2018, the former player won, alongside animator Glen Keane, the Oscar for best animated short film for “Dear Basketball”. He was the author of the script and also the narrator.
