Robert Plant about Zeppelin Reunion: “I Don’t Wanna Do It a Disservice”

Robert Plant interview

Robert Plant talked with 91.9 WFPK and he was asked like always, if Led Zeppelin could ever get together again.

Read what he said:

“I have no idea. It’s not even within my countenance to imagine it, really.”

The interviewer said that Led Zeppelin is “near and dear to the hearts” of many fans. He replied:

“Me too – nobody more than me. But I don’t wanna do it a disservice either.”

Some months ago he also talked about the rumor with Classic Rock Magazine.

Read what he said:

“It shows you that people have nothing else to write about, obviously. And that’s kind of sad.

“All these magazines and internet platforms should be supporting new music and help new musicians to find an audience, instead of dwelling on the old crap all the time.

“It’s like there is nothing new and exciting out there anymore, when in fact there is. So stop living in the past. Open your ears and your eyes. It’s not that difficult, is it?

“It is kind of funny, I have to admit. But, hey, there’s better ways to entertain yourself, believe me.”

Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
