The legendary Ratt singer, Stephen Pearcy announced the release of his sixth solo studio album in 2021. The work is being written and recorded by the musician alongside the guitarist Erik Ferentinos.
Stephen Pearcy released the news on his social networks, saying:
“Stephen Pearcy “(title here)” #6 solo record to be released 2021 on Top Fuel Records/. Written by (Pearcy and Erik Ferentinos ) we’ve already started recording few months back. Probably release a work in motion song demo from Erik and myself just for fun. Tba.”
The glam rocker Stephen Pearcy (born July 3, 1956) is still Ratt frontman and continues to tour with the band. Also, he created the bands Firedome, Crystal Pystal, Mickey Ratt and Ratt Arcade, Vicious Delite, Vertex. And recorded five records as a solo artist.
Inspired by Aerosmith, Kiss, Van Halen and more, the band was formed in 1976 under the name of Mickey Ratt (changing to Ratt in 1983) It had Stephen Pearcy on vocals, Robbin Crosby and Warren De Matini on guitars. Also Juan Croucier on bass and Bobby Blotzer on drums.
The next album, Invasion of Your Privacy, did not get the same sales as the previous album. They went on tour with Bon Jovi opening. The following album came out in 1986 under the title Dancing Undercover. In 1988 Reach for the Sky came out.
In 1992 they stopped their activities. They returned in 1997 and have continued to perform ever since, despite a legal dispute over the use of the band’s name.
