Ozzy Osbourne recently announced that he will re-launch his solo discography in an incredible box titled See You On The Other Side. Speaking of the news with Rolling Stone, the Prince of Darkness revealed which record he dislikes: The Ultimate Sin of 1986 which features the hit “Shot In The Dark”.
He said:
“Everything looked the same. There was no creativity. If I had a record I’d like to remix and improve, it would be The Ultimate Sin, ”he says. About the box, the singer confessed to being a “trip in his memories”.
The album
The Ultimate Sin is the fourth studio album by Ozzy Osbourne and it was released on 22 February 1986, and it was remastered and re-issued on 22 August 1995.
It marks the final appearance of lead guitarist Jake E. Lee and the first and only Osbourne album to feature bassist Phil Soussan, who co-wrote the album’s hit single “Shot in the Dark”.[6] Drummer Randy Castillo, who had previously played in Lita Ford’s band, also makes his recording debut with Osbourne.
The album was awarded Platinum status in May 1986 and was awarded Double Platinum status in October 1994 by the RIAA.
