Nick Mason will play old Pink Floyd songs on tour

Nick Mason 2018

Nick Mason, Pink Floyd’s original drummer, is planning a big tour with his new band in the United States.

After going through Europe with The Saucerful of Secrets – which also features Guy Pratt, Lee Harris (The Blockheads), Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) and Dom Beken – the supergroup heads to America with one more thing in their repertoire.

The band will play former Pink Floyd hits, songs released between 1967 and 1972 on albums such as A Saucerful of Secrets (1968), which named the band before the Dark Side of the Moon (1973)

About the experience, Nick Mason stated:

“With the help of some friends who think like me, I embarked on a journey of discovery of music that was Pink Floyd’s launch pad and my professional life. It seems too early to retire and I missed the interaction with other musicians.”
