Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard kicked-off their 2023 tour last February 10 at the Etess Arena in Atlantic City, NJ. It was the first concert that the American group made with their new touring guitarist John 5. He replaced the original guitar player Mick Mars (71), that due to health issues retired from the road in 2022. For decades he struggles with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) – a form of arthritis of the spine that causes inflammation between the vertebrae and in the joints between the spine and pelvis.
The two groups have scheduled shows this year in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Ireland.
