Mike & The Mechanics, led by Genesis‘ Mike Rutherford, announced their first 2027 tour dates that will happen in May and June in Europe. With the tour called “Back on Track”, the band promises that they will be playing all their hits. So far the announced shows are in the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria.
Besides Rutherford the band is currently formed by Gary Wallis (Drums), Andrew Roachford (Vocals and keyboards), Tim Howar (Vocals and percussion), Anthony Drennan (Bass, guitar) and Luke Juby (Keyboards, bass, saxophone). Besides songs from the band they usually also play some Genesis tracks like “Land of Confusion” and “I Can’t Dance”.

The nand was formed by Mike Rutherford in 1985 with Paul Carrack (Vocals, keyboards), Paul Young (Vocals, guitar) and Peter Van Hooke (Drums). Their first four albums were very successful and had many hits. The records were “Mike + The Mechanics (1985), “Living Years” (1988), “Word of Mouth” (1991) and “Beggar on a Beach of Gold” (1995). Some of their most famous songs are “The Living Years”, “Over My Shoulder”, “All I Need is a Miracle”, “Silent Running” and “Word of Mouth”.
