Led Zeppelin documentary will be released to celebrate 50th anniversary

A new Led Zeppelin documentary is currently in post-production. The still untitled film is directed by Bernard MacMahon, who commanded the American Epic, an Emmy-nominated musical series.

The movie will have interviews with guitarist Jimmy Page, vocalist Robert Plant and bassist John Paul Jones. In addition to rare files with the late drummer John Bonham. This is the first time that Led Zeppelin has participated in a documentary about the band.

The film will debut in Cannes and is being called “the definitive story of the birth of the most profitable rock band in the world.” It will be counted from the perspective of the group.

About the production, Page said he knew Bernard was a good choice to tell the story. “American Epic is a remarkable achievement.”

Jones added, “The time was right for us to tell our story for the first time. With our own words, I think the film will bring everything to life. ”
