KISS knows how to make money. One of the ways explored by the band is the meet and greet. However, the Coronavirus made the band cancel their next meet and greet’s on their farewell tour. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer will not take any risks at the meetings.
In an official statement, Kiss manager Doc McGhee said:
“Our meet and greets have always offered us and you our fans a unique opportunity to literally stand shoulder to shoulder together. After many discussions with experts in the field, we have been advised to temporarily cancel these events given the reality that we do this nightly for a hundred or more fans. Shows will continue as scheduled and we look forward to resuming our time with you backstage.”
“Your VIP upgrade will be refunded in full. There will be no VIP activity taking place at the show. This includes Captain’s Lounge and Photo Op. All refunds will be given from point of purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to show up.”

Corona Virus/Covid-19
There were 100,347 registered cases of Covid-19, the infection caused by the new coronavirus, worldwide. A survey released on Friday (6) by Johns Hopkins University showed that China is still the country with the highest number of registered cases, there are 80,710 so far.
Despite this, the number of records is dropping in China, while the virus is spreading in other countries. Also, the region, considered the epicenter of the epidemic, has not registered any new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours; this is the first time this has happened since the outbreak began.
Also, South Korea, Iran and Italy are the three countries that registered more cases of infection by Covid-19 outside China. In addition, more than 80 countries have confirmed cases of new coronavirus.
In Latin America, seven countries already have records of the disease: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and Peru. Based on the worldwide number of infected, the lethality rate is 3.4%, with the majority having recovered to date.
China is the country most affected by the disease. Then, the most affected places are South Korea (6,767 cases, of which 483 are new), Iran (4,747 cases, with 124 deaths), Italy (4,636 cases, 197 deaths) and Germany (684 cases, with no case record mortal).
