Keith Richards said that The Rolling Stones may be about to embark on a farewell tour. He said, “Maybe this is the last.”

The Stones recently announced details of the No Filter tour for 2019. The performances will mark the band’s 57 years.

Richards told Rolling Stone about the tour. “Maybe this is the last, I don’t know.”

However, the guitar legend described his approach to live performances: “Give me 50,000 people that I feel at home. The whole band feels. As Ronnie and I always talked before entering, ‘Let’s go to the stage to have peace and quiet’.”

Keith also revealed that the band has been working on new songs. “Mick [Jagger] and I met for a few days a while back in a studio. Just improvising. Also, there may be a session sometime in December, but I do not guarantee anything. ”

“It was great, man,” he continued. “We made some songs together with producer Don Was. We’re solving everything. We had great moments – a lot of good things came out. ”

Asked to describe the new sound, he joked: “It has guitars, bass and drums.”
