“If you can’t do what you do, do what you can.” This is the message of Jon Bon Jovi in times of coronavirus. The singer is unable to perform due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and decided to help one of his most beloved projects. In addition to all his work in music, he owns JBJ Soul Kitchen.
The community restaurant aims to help provide food for people in need. During the crisis due to the disease, the two units (both in New Jersey) are only open for the withdrawal of food by the “needy community”.
Naturally, the menu options are limited – but the project’s website guarantees: “if you or your family are in need of food, we are a resource for you”. There is no information about the unit that is at Rutgers University, also in New Jersey.
The lack of personnel also appears to be affecting the location, which is expected to be in high demand in the coming days. For this reason, Jon Bon Jovi himself was seen there doing the dishes.
