John Fogerty and ZZ Top tour

Legendary Creedence Clearwater Revival singer, guitarist and songwriter John Fogerty joined ZZ Top to announce a new tour called “Blues and Bayou Tour”, that will also have Willie Nelson for a June show in Mount Pleasant, Mich.

Fogerty said:

“ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands. And [ZZ Top co-founder] Billy F. Gibbons is one of my all-time favorite guitarists. Riffs, blues and bayous – bucket list!”

The tour starts on May 25 and tickets go on sale March 2 at 10AM local time. Pre-sales will begin on the artists’ websites beginning on Wednesday. A complete list of dates, cities and venues is below.

And ZZ Top’s guitarist Billy Gibbons said:

“John Fogerty, along with ZZ Top, have been followers of blues and rock since the beginning, and we’re looking forward to rippin’ it up together this spring. We’ve got a great show lined up for ya’!”
