Perry reformed the Joe Perry Project in 2022 after 12 years since the last concerts of the group. That happened when Aerosmith had to postpone their Las Vegas residency because Steven Tyler went to rehab.
Perry founded the band in 1979, when he left Aerosmith. Last year the group toured in the United States and South America, performing many songs from the three albums released in the early 80s, Aerosmith hits and covers.
In 2023 he will also be on the road with the supergroup Hollywood Vampires next June and July in Europe. The group formed in 2012 also has Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp. Aerosmith doesn’t have shows scheduled for 2023.
