Nicko McBrain announced during NAMM in Anaheim, California, the launch of his official drum and drum shop called Drum One.

In fact the Iron Maiden drummer acquired a store founded in 1983 under the name of Manchester Drum Center, and in partnership with Craig Buckley, former manager of Premier Drums, changed the name of the company to launch this new business.

The store will be based in the city of Manchester and, in addition to selling products from leading brands, will have areas dedicated exclusively to Paiste and Sonor, which sponsor McBrain.

“I’m very happy to be a part of this fantastic adventure. It’s something different from my usual job, but definitely something I’m ready to take on. I’m grateful to Craig and Sam (McGoran, former opportunity to embrace and work on the percussion sales world and thank you very much! I can not wait to commit myself to the experience that will be Drum One by Nicko McBrain.”
