Hear the new Robert Plant song “Gospel Plough”

Robert Plant released a new song called “Gospel Plough”, which is part of his upcoming studio album with Saving Grace (His backing band at the time), which will be out next September 26. According to the official press release “The album’s genesis was during lockdown, when RP’s customary wandering was all but forbidden. It was in the English countryside that he connected closely to this diverse group of musicians. Produced by RP and the band and recorded over six years in the Cotswolds and on the Welsh Borders, ‘Saving Grace’ features songs by Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley (Moby Grape), Blind Willie Johnson, The Low Anthem, Martha Scanlan, Sarah Siskind, and Low.”.

A solo artist since the end of Led Zeppelin, Plant has released 12 studio albums with his name and five collaborative records. They were recorded with The Honeydrippers, Jimmy Page and Alison Krauss.

Although fans keep asking if it is possible to have a new Led Zeppelin reunion, Plant ruled out any chances. He even said recently he declined Tony Iommi’s invitation to be part of Sabbath’s farewell festival, because he doesn’t know anything that is happening in that world (of heavy music) anymore.

Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution.
