Nirvana’s classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was released in 1991 on the album Nevermind. At the time, the band was nominated for a Grammy and won the MTV Video Music Award.
The Seattle band, icon of Grunge, closed the activities in 1994, when the singer was found dead in his house.
The version of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by the Australian band Sleep Good was renamed “Teen Sprite”, and according to the NME, it sounds something between Weezer and REM.
