Squeeze
Squeeze is a British band that gained prominence in the United Kingdom in the late 70s, in the New Wave era, and continued to record in the 80s and 90s. They are known in the UK for their hits “Cool for Cats”, “Up the Junction”, “Tempted”, “Black Coffee in Bed”, “Pulling Mussels (From the Shell),” and “Hourglass”. Although the band was not very commercially successful in the United States, the songs “Tempted”, “Hourglass” and “853-5937” were successful on the charts there.
