Ringo is always the less remembered musician from The Beatles. Ok, it’s hard to compete with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. But he is also talented as those names, and show it on his solo career until today.
He had some major hits like “Back Off Bogaloo”, “It Don’t Come Easy” and “Photograph”. But, many other great tracks had been forgotten, like “The Weight Of The World”, from the album “Time Takes Time” from 1992.
Heart it below:
“Weight of the World” by Ringo Starr
Time Takes Time (1992)
The song was written by Brian O’Doherty and Fred Velez and was released as a lead single backed with “After All These Years”, and “Don’t Be Cruel” (the latter was only on the CD single). The single reached 74 in the UK charts. It was released on 28 April 1992 in the US,(N. 1) and on 18 May in the UK.(N. 2).
