A billboard in the New York City subway says the band will play on July 17 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., and on the next day at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y.
The sign also says they will play the full debut album and the band hits.
The band recently updated their Facebook and Instagram with the cover of their fist album, what indicates that the reunion may be confirmed. They haven’t posted anything about the tour dates yet. And their website currently off the air.
Last month, The Wall Street Journal reported that the band would embark on a reunion tour in 2020. According to the newspaper the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson were negotiating with Live Nation for a The Black Crowes tour.
The former group manager Pete Angelus also said he is aware that brothers Chris and Rich Robinson have made a deal with Live Nation for a reunion tour.
Among the sources is original drummer Steve Gorman, who said this is very likely to happen, but he was not invited to participate.
