Ex-Black Sabbath members participate in tribute album to the band

Black Sabbath Emerald tribute

The Emerald Sabbath project, led by Michael Suilleabhain, will release a Black Sabbath tribute album called “Ninth Star” on February 15, 2019. The album will feature guest appearances from various names linked to the band’s history and their respective members, such as:

  • Bev Bevan (Black Sabbath, ELO)
  • Neil Murray (Black Sabbath, Whitesnake)
  • Terry Chimes (Black Sabbath, The Clash)
  • Laurence Cottle (Black Sabbath, The Alan Parsons Project)
  • Ron Keel (Black Sabbath, Keel)
  • Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell)
  • Dave Walker (Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac)
  • Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, Rainbow)
  • Tony Martin (Black Sabbath, Headless Cross)
  • Rudy Sarzo (Black Sabbath, Whitesnake)
  • The English Chamber Choir

There will also be collaboration from producers and graphic artists who have worked with Sabbath in the past, such as producers Will Malone and Mike Lewis (“Sabotage”, “Technical Ecstasy”) and graphic designers Richard Manning and Colin Elgie (“Technical Ecstasy “) and Hugh Gilmour (” Born Again “).

The idea of ​​Suilleabhain with the project is to re-record Black Sabbath songs with as many former band members as possible. He also invited a string quartet to complement the recordings.
