Eddie Vedder plays Depeche Mode with Will Ferrell and Chad Smith

This week, actor Will Ferrell hosted One Classy Night, an event that aims to raise funds to help charities.

There, Ferrell reunited his doppelgänger Chad Smith, Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Brandi Carlile, as well as musicians Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) to perform musical performances, comedy and more.

One of the videos of the show, which was recently published online by a fan, shows the musicians making a version of Depeche Mode’s classic “Personal Jesus”.

With Carlile singing, Vedder on the tambourine, McCready on the guitar, Ferrell on the cowbell and Smith on drums, the performance was very lively and energetic with lots of fun times among the musicians.

Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution.
