Roth’s “The Shit that Killed Elvis” lyrics
“Gave a task to a monkey
‘Cause they wanted to see
If he could roll like Elvis and to what degree
And when they checked the results
The experts couldn’t believe
Fuckin’ chimp lit up like a Christmas tree
Monkey went off like a stick of TNT
Broke the light, smashed the camera, and destroyed the chromakey
Now he’s hiding high up in the Judas tree
That’s the shit that killed Elvis
And it almost killed the chimpanzee
That’s the shit that killed Elvis
Ain’t going to let it catch mе
Give me the babеs and the dames
The groupies and whores
Ones with no last names
I’m talking Best in Show
Five star bed
Never rehearse
Arrive in a Limo
Leave in a hearse
The lyrics continued:
Give me a platinum-plated trip to the top
With a warranty
Late night hot tub, waking at the crack of three

That’s the life for me
Give me the shit that killed Elvis
Ain’t going to let it catch me
I need a super-size mansion
Under constant renovation
Tomb with a view
For world-class procrastination
Death by pizza in perfect isolation
Modern and most things will go to my wishing
Me a platinum-plated trip to the top
With a warranty
Late night hot tub, waking at the crack of three
I want the shit that killed Elvis
That’s the life for me
Give me the shit that killed Elvis
Ain’t going to let it catch me”
