The British Pop duo Eurythmics was formed in London, England back in 1980 and was first active until 1990 and then from 1999 to 2005. During those breaks the two artists Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart focused on their solo careers and other projects.
In a post on his social networks, Stewart revealed that to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their most famous album “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” (1983), he will tour with other female vocalists since Lennox doesn’t want to tour anymore.

“Looking forward to this , I love performing these songs.I spent 1,000’s of hours crafting them in the studio and had the best partner in Annie but she has said she won’t be touring anymore which I totally understand but I love our songs.”
“I love playing live so I have selected brilliant all female musicians and three wonderful female vocalists.I promise a stunning show full of memorable songs 🎶 more dates announced soon,” Dave Stewart said.
Until now only one date was revealed, that will happen next November 7 in Switzerland and will have Joss Stone as the special vocal guest.
