The 79 year-old British guitarist and singer Dave Mason announced his retirement from touring because of ongoing health issues. He was forced to cancel all his tour dates last June because he was recovering from a “severe infection”.
He is the co-founder of the band Traffic, in which he sang lead vocals on the famous songs “My Shoe” and “Feelin’ Alright?”. After leaving the band he worked a lot as a session musician, playing with names like George Harrison, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson and more. From 1993 to 1995 he was also a member of Fleetwood Mac, being part of their album “Time”.
