Former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo returns to Cuba for the first time

Dave Lombardo, former Slayer drummer, returned for the first time to the city where he was born, Havana, Cuba.

On his Facebook page, the drummer wrote, “I finally went back to Havana, Cuba, after leaving the country with my parents when I was 14 months old. I was able to visit the family I had never met before. I visited the house where I was born and the family tomb. I had a wonderful encounter at the Submarino Amarillo with several journalists and bands, including the legendary Cuban metal band ZEUS. I’m looking forward to going back in May. What I experienced was nothing like what I imagined. visit this beautiful island.
