The Cranberries made fans happy with news on Wednesday, 9. In a Facebook posting, they revealed they will be releasing a new album in 2019. The Irish group said that Dolores O’Riordan had already recorded LP vocals before her death on 15 January. The singer was 46 years old.
Three days before the fatality, Dolores sent new songs to guitarist Noel Hogan. The tracks were supposed to compose the group’s next album, which would be the first of The Cranberries in six years. In the statement, the band revealed that they have been working on LP since last year.
They also promised a special edition of the debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can not We ?, which turned 25 on the last day of 1st. The project had been canceled after O’Riordan’s death, but will be released later this year.
