Bret Michaels wants new Poison songs in 2020

Bret Michaels poison 2020

2019 is coming to an end, but Bret Michaels is already looking at 2020. At the top of his to-do list: record new songs with Poison.

In an interview with Billboard, the singer said:

“2020 is really the dream. I’m working real hard right now to put together something incredible with some other bands for next summer.” A new Poison recording, he adds, “would be amazing. I don’t think an entire album, but at least one song; I’d love to do that. It’s definitely on the wish list.”

Poison’s last tour happened place in 2018, when they hit the road with Cheap Trick. Since then, Michaels remains busy with his solo work. The singer is currently on his Unbroken tour, with dates scheduled by the end of this year.

This month’s performances will have extra significance, with Michaels helping raise money for military veterans and first responders.

“We’re having a great time – an amazing party for people, great bands, everything,” he said. “And then we encourage them to donate money to local charities, which we examine to make sure they are legitimate.”
