In a short video posted on social networks, drummer Bill Ward talks about his former bandmates on Black Sabbath and said that he is opened for a reunion with the band.
“My name is Bill Ward, and I want to say that I love Tony (Iommi, guitar), Geezer (Butler, bass) and Ozzy (Osbourne, vocals). And I’m open-minded for any idea about playing together in the future. That’s it. I love you all, thank you. ”
The original four members of Black Sabbath were present when the band announced their reunion tour at the end of 2011. But Bill left the group the following year, citing an “unenforceable” contract, so the three other members decided to go ahead by recording a studio album, “13,” and made a world tour without Bill’s presence.
It was later revealed that they feared that the drummer could not keep up with the rhythm, and even thought about hiring a second drummer to hold the rythm, but in the end Bill eventually gave up on the idea.
