The ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who was fired from the band in 2021, has been involved in countless projects during the past two years and now he announced the “Bass Warrior Tour”. During the shows he will perform classics from his career, deep cuts and will tell the story behind the songwriting of those tracks.
“I’ve approached my career as that of a musical warrior, always accompanied by my bass guitar. I eagerly anticipate bringing these songs back to the stage, while sharing introspective and entertaining anecdotes about their creation. It’s been a wild ride of low notes and high stakes!” David Ellefson said.
His band for these shows will be formed by Andy Martongelli (Guitar), Roberto pirami (Drums), Titta Tani (Vocals) and Walter Cianclusi (Guitar).

During his last tenure with the group he recorded “Thirteen” (2011), “Super Collider” (2013) and “Dystopia” (2016).
He had already recorded bass parts for the band’s most recent album “The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!” (2022) but after being fired, Dave Mustaine decided to change all his bass parts.
