Back in 2005 the original Motorhead lineup performed the classic “(We Are) The Road Crew”, from the “Ace Of Spades” album, on the BBC documentary about the record.

Classic Album’s

The BBC series looks at the creation of some classic rock albums interviewing the people who worked at the project. The Motörhead episode, shows the story behind “Ace Of Spades”, where they reached the pinnacle of their artistic and commercial success.

Interviews with band members Lemmy, Phil Taylor and Eddie Clarke give a taste of what life was like in the first metal band to harness punk energy. The programme has archive footage and interviews with some of the biggest names in rock, including Lars Ulrich of Metallica and Slash.
