Aerosmith announced their farewell tour but the band had to postpone their tour dates due to Steven Tyler's health issues. While the singer was recovering, the guitarist Joe Perry toured with his solo band and the supergroup Hollywood Vampires. Now, in an interview with Rock Candy magazine, Perry said that there is a possibility of Aerosmith recording new music someday. Their most recent studio album is "Music From Another Dimension!" released in 2012. Joe Perry says Aerosmith might record new music "There's definitely a possibility. I know that Steven has got some stuff in his back pocket, so we'll see. I'm currently writing stuff for a new Hollywood Vampires album, but after that… What we are definitely doing is remixing some of the early Aerosmith stuff and finding some interesting outtakes, so it'll be fun to look at that stuff." During the same conversation, Perry recalled how scared they were that Steven Tyler maybe would never recover his voice again. "It was pretty heavy. Imagine being told that you might not ever do it again. It all can be taken away so easily," Joe Perry said. Nowadays the band is formed by Steven Tyler (Vocals), Joe Perry (Guitar), Tom Hamilton (Bass), Brad Whitford (Guitar) and John Douglas (Touring drummer). The original drummer Joey Kramer is not a member of the band when they are touring since his wife passed away. Aerosmith was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. It didn’t take long for them to be one of the most successful bands in the world. In more than five decades, they had ups and downs but they always came back stronger releasing really powerful hits. That consistency made them become one of the best-selling acts in the history of music. They have sold an estimated amount of more than 150 million records worldwide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7lCZ0rpH3o&pp=ygUhaXQgY291bGQgaGF2ZSBiZWVuIGxvdmUgYWVyb3NtaXRo
