The British Gothic Rock band Sisters of Mercy announced their first North American tour after 14 years. The band led by vocalist Andrew Eldritch will perform next May and June across the United States. The group was formed in Leeds, England in 1980 and even though they had released only 3 studio albums, they are one of the most influential bands from their genre. "First and Last and Always" (1985), "Floodland" (1987) and "Vision Thing" (1990) have many classic songs like "Lucretia My Reflection", "Temple of Love", "More", "Dominion/Mother Russia" and "Marian". The current line-up has Andrew Eldritch (Vocals - only original member), Ben Christo (Guitar and bass - Since 2006), Dylan Smith (Guitar - Since 2019). The band uses a drum machine they call "Doktor Avalanche".
