Smashing Pumpkins released a new song called "Chrome Jets", which was recorded during the sessions of their 2024 album "Aghori Mhori Mei". It was their first album without the guitarist Jeff Schroeder who left in 2023. He was replaced by Kiki Wong, who was not part of that record. The band's current line-up has Billy Corgan (Vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jimmy Chamberlin (Drums) and James Iha (Guitar). They are accompanied by the session musicians: Jack Bates (Bass), Katie Cole (Keyboards, guitar) and Kiki Wong (Guitar).
