Next time you come around, use the back door" Kid in a candy store Everything and a little more Kid in a candy store Flat sixty-nine on the second floor, yeah Went inside, my brain was fried From working swing shifts all week long I needed company, a little fantasy The situation was clearly on She had raven hair and ruby lips And the body of a movie star Till she held out her hand, said, "Do you understand? It's two grand and your new guitar" I said, "Hey, Sugar I've been here before But next time I come, I'll use the back door" Kid in a candy store Everything and a little more Kid in a candy store Suite sixty-nine on the seventh floor Yeah An empty wallet makes an empty heart As a penny dropped to the floor All my wages are in your dresser drawer But I always come Back for more Kid in a candy store Everything and just a little more Kid in a candy store Flat sixty-nine on the second floor Kid in a candy store Everything and just a little bit more Kid in a candy store Suite sixty-nine on the seventh, seventh floor Candy store, candy store, candy store Want a little more Candy store, candy store, candy store On the seventh floor Candy store, candy store, candy store Yeah, I want a little more Candy store, candy store, candy store Open up your door, yeah Candy Rose".
