After touring extensively in the United States in 2023, ZZ Top announced that they are going to play in Europe next year. The power trio announced shows next June and July in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France, United Kingdom and Switzerland. It's the first time they will be playing in Europe after five years away. Since the band's original bassist and sometimes singer Dusty Hill passed away in 2021 at the age of 72, the band is formed by the original members Billy Gibbons (Guitar and vocals) and Frank Beard (Drums). They are accompanied by Elwood Francis on bass. “It’s been a while since we’ve been able to check in with our European fans, so it goes without saying that we’re excited about coming back this summer.
