In an interview with Jenny McCarthy's show on SiriusXM Zakk Wylde commented on how his alcohol problems started. Read what he said: “I was 19 years old. That's when my drinking problems started. I drank already and the thing increased from then on. When I started playing with Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne became worried and went to talk to Barbaranne” [Zakk's wife]. “I was the only person accompanying Ozzy because everyone was afraid to get stuck in that web, they were afraid to support him and feel guilty later. But I always go out with him. How could anyone deny going out with Ozzy? They let me know that I was an amateur and that I had no idea where I was getting myself." "So I went straight out with Ozzy and we drank all the time. Sharon asked Barbaranne if I had a drinking problem, and Barbaranne said I only drank milk”.
