The band John 5 And The Creatures, with guitarist John 5 (Rob Zombie, ex-Marilyn Manson), had some special appearances during a concert held last Saturday (6), Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, United States . Bassist Michael Anthony (Van Halen, The Circle), vocalist Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), drummer Fred Coury (Cinderella) and bassist Shavo Odadjian (System Of A Down) played some covers with the band. Michael Anthony, Corey Taylor and Fred Coury played some songs from Van Halen with John 5 And The Creatures. They are: "Runnin 'With The Devil", "Take Your Whiskey Home" and "You Really Got Me" (original of The Kinks). Already Shavo Odadjian played bass in a version of "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. But after saying he was not aware of anything, Anthony said through social networks that "it will not roll." Anthony’s bandmate in The Circle, Sammy Hagar (also ex-Van Halen), recently revealed that the bassist was contacted last year by the band’s agents on a reunion tour. However, Anthony has not yet given details on such an invitation. At the end of January he was interviewed for the No Treble podcast, specialized in bass: “The only comment I have to make is that I have not spoken to any of Van Halen’s guys since we last played together in 2004,” the musician said.
