Megadeth's leader Dave Mustaine revealed in social networks that he was diagnosed with Throat Cancer. The singer and guitarist posted a statement and said that treatment has already begun and has a 90% success rate. He also said that Kiko Loureiro, David Ellefson and Dirk Verbeuren will continue on studio working on the band's new album. He said: "I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on - but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate.
