Kiss postponed their tour date in Salt Lake City because Gene Simmons had to fly to Los Angeles for a medical operation. According to TMZ, the operation took place on October 1 and removed kidney stones. The procedure was noninvasive and took a full hour. The catheters will be removed within a week and any remaining stones will be removed later. Simmons will have time before returning to the stage with the farewell tour. The next show takes place on November 16 in Australia. Kidney Stones Popularly known as kidney stone, this hardened formation can arise in the kidneys and clog up another point in the urinary canal. Because the ureter, the channel that carries urine to the bladder, is very narrow, the particle becomes stuck. As a result of the expulsion attempt, the intense pain arises.
