Back in March, ZZ Top announced that their drummer Frank Beard would have to step away from the band’s tour for a medical procedure, as he was dealing with foot and ankle issues. During the shows that followed, he was replaced by their longtime drum tech John Douglas, who had previously toured with Aerosmith when Joey Kramer chose to stop performing live. Now the Blues Rock band said that Frank Beard is feeling great and will join the band for their remaining tour dates that are scheduled until the end of the year. “It’s good to be back. See you out there,” the musician said in an official statement. The band's vocalist and guitarist Billy Gibbons talked a little more about Beard's return: “We’re happy that Frank is back with Elwood and yours truly. We missed him and are looking forward to turning it up and rocking out with him, as has been the case for the last few hundred or so decades. “His complete recovery is cause for celebration and that’s just what we intend to do on an open-ended basis. Welcome back, pardner!” Next ZZ Top tour dates June 1 – Victoria, BC – Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre 3 – Kelowna, BC – Prospera Place 4 – Tsuut'ina, AB – Grey Eagle Resort and Casino 6 – Enoch, AB – River Cree Resort & Casino 7 – Saskatoon, SK – SaskTel Centre 8 – Winnipeg, MB – Canada Life Centre 10 – Moorhead, MN – Bluestone Amphitheater 12 – Waite Park, MN – The Ledge - Waite Park Amphitheater 13 – Carlton, MN – Black Bear Casino Resort 14 – Davenport, IA – Rhythm City Casino Resort 18 – Windsor, ON – Caesars Windsor - The Colosseum 20 – Pickering, ON – Pickering Casino Resort - The Arena 21 – Toronto, ON – Great Canadian Toronto - The Theatre 22 – Hamilton, ON – FirstOntario Centre 25 – Laval, QC – Place Bell 26 – Québec, QC – Agora Du Port De Québec 27 – Moncton, NB – Casino New Brunswick - The Centre August 1 – Sturgis, SD – Buffalo Chip Campground (Sturgis Motorcycle Rally) 2 – Sioux City, IA – Hard Rock Sioux City 4 – Morrison, CO – Red Rocks Amphitheatre 6 – Salina, KS – The Stiefel Theatre 8 – Arcadia, WI – Ashley For The Arts 10 – Lincoln, NE – Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater 13 – Salt Lake City, UT – Red Butte Concert Series 2025 14 – Pocatello, ID – Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre 17 – Eugene, OR – Cuthbert Amphitheatre 22 – Coquitlam, BC – Great Canadian Casino Vancouver 23 – Richmond, BC – River Rock Casino 24 – Auburn, WA – Muckleshoot Casino Resort 26 – Troutdale, OR – Edgefield Amphitheater 29 – Murphys, CA – Ironstone Amphitheater 30 – Costa Mesa, CA – OC Fair & Event Center September 3 – Midland, TX – Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center 6 – Memphis, TN – Memphis Botanic Garden 7 – Tuscaloosa, AL – Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater 11 – Selbyville, DE – Freeman Arts Pavilion 13 – Asbury Park, NJ – Sea.Hear.Now Festival 17 – New York, NY – Beacon Theatre 19 – Danville, VA – The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia 21 – Bethlehem, PA – Wind Creek Bethlehem 23 – Binghamton, NY – Visions Memorial Arena 24 – Albany, NY – Palace Theatre - Albany 26 – Providence, RI – Veteran's Memorial Auditorium 27 – Hampton, NH – Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom October 2 – Barco, NC – Morris Farm 3 – Winsboro, SC – Field & Stream Music Fest 5 – Athens, GA – The Classic Center 7 – Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Theatre 9 – Northfield, OH – MGM Northfield Park - Center Stage 10 – Terre Haute, IN – The Mill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gre65UqotpQ&pp=ygUKenogdG9wMjAyNdIHCQmwCQGHKiGM7w%3D%3D
