America 2026 tour dates

After 56 years since its formation, America continues touring in 2026 and has many scheduled tour dates in the United States next March, April, May and June. Since 2024 the only original member of the band who is still touring is Dewey Bunnell (74), since Gerry Beckley (73) decided to retire from live performances to spend more time with his family. They are the two surviving members of the American trio formed in London in 1970, since their bandmate Dan Peek passed away in 2011 at the age of 60.

Dewey talked about the tour saying: “After 53 years sharing the stage together and an everlasting great friendship, I will miss Gerry immensily on the road in 2026, but wish him all the best in his future endeavors, of which I’m sure there will be many! America will be taking the show back on the road this spring and I’m looking forward to a great year!”.

Gerry also released a statement, giving his blessing to the next tour: “Although I’ll remain an active member of the band America, after 53 years of travel I’m retiring from the touring band to spend more time with my family and friends. I’m wishing Dew and the whole touring team good luck on this next part of the journey,” he said.

Rafael Polcaro: I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
