All The Pretenders 2024 tour dates so far

The Pretenders

The Pretenders would start their 2024 tour to promote their latest album “Relentless” (2023) next February but the band’s vocalist and guitarist Chrissie Hynde have a knee injury that will take several months to heal and those shows had to be postponed to next September. So the entire leg of the tour which was supposed to happen in February and March is now scheduled for September and October. But their first concerts of 2024 will happen next June in Spain.

“We’re champing at the bit to get back on the road, but looks like we’re gonna have to hold tight for a while. I have a knee injury which will have to be dealt with first. I was hoping I could limp through the next 6 weeks, but it’s just getting worse.

“(I’ll spare you the gory details…) We will be rescheduling the postponed shows to later in the year. So sorry for the inconvenience but look forward to seeing you then,” Chrissie Hynde said.

So far the scheduled shows will happen in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland, United States, Spain, France and United Kingdom. Besides Chrissie Hynde, the band’s current line-up has: Martin Chambers (Drums – Since 1978), Nick Wilkinson (Bass – Since 2005), James Walbourne (Guitar – Since 2008) and Eric Heywood (Guitar – Since 2008).

Rafael Polcaro: I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution.
