Reunited since 2018, Stray Cats will be back on the road in 2024 and they have scheduled tour dates in the United States next July and August. Formed in Massapequa, New York back in 1979, the band is formed by Brian Setzer (Guitar and vocals), Lee Rocker (Double Bass) and Slim Jim Phantom (Drums).

The group already released nine studio albums, the most recent one “40” made in 2019. “I’ve always said that we all grew up in the same neighborhood, so there’s an instant feeling between us when we play. It allows us to be confident and spontaneous. Man, that’s priceless,” Brian Setzer said about the tour

Lee Rocker also gave an statement about the shows, saying: “With just a string bass, a guitar and a drum, we have always had less instruments and gear, but more rumble, more twang, more shake, and more bang than anyone else. Now’s the right time to bring it back!”

Slim Jim Phantom also talked about the tour, saying: “I’m thrilled to be doing shows in 2024 with Stray Cats in the U.S.A.! Playing drums with Brian and Lee in our rockabilly band is the best possible way to spend a summer!”

Rafael Polcaro: I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
