Alice Cooper had previously announced that Orianthi would be the one who would replace the guitarist Nita Strauss on selected 2025 tour dates. However, the former Cooper and Michael Jackson guitar player said recently she has “a torn hamstring, hip and lower back issue which is very uncomfortable and unfortunate”.

She continued, saying: “Getting the help I need here with the best doctors. I have been advised to not tour / travel. I love Alice and the band very much, but won’t be able to do this short run with them this time. I’m mending up. Love you all.”

So Alice Cooper had to find another guitarist for those shows and he recruited Gilby Clarke, who has an amazing resume. He was the one who replaced Izzy Stradlin in Guns N’ Roses  in 1991 during the “Use Your Illusion Tour”. He continued as a member of the band, appearing on their 1993 covers album “The Spaghetti Incident?”. Since then he released solo records, playing with Slash‘s Snakepit, Heart, Jason Newsted and Tommy Lee.
