Tom Morello is currently on the road as a solo artist and during his show in Toronto, Canada last July 17, he was joined on stage by the Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson. They performed a version of the band’s classic song “Limelight”. He also performed MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams” with Morello’s band. The drummer of the band right now is the 15 year-old Japanese prodigy Yoyoka Soma and Morello’s son Roman also joins the band on stage for a few tracks.

They are good friends and back in 2021 had already recorded together the collaborative track “I Have Seen the Way”, which also had Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and was part of Morello’s solo album “The Atlas Underground Flood”.
