Aerosmith plans to make a tour celebrating their 50 years

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry spoke in an interview with Atlantic City Weekly about the band’s plans.

“I think the way things are going, we’ll try. We can do some more shows – maybe some festivals in the next six or eight months. By 2019, we’ll be close to our 50th birthday, so we’re planning some dates and a tour to celebrate that. ”

Aerosmith’s latest album, Music From Another Dimension!, was released in 2012. Joe Perry released a solo album in January of that year called Sweetzerland Manifesto.
