Youtubers make crazy ukulele version for Slayer’s “Bloodline”

In this internet era, ukulele has become a sensation in Youtube covers, with musicians playing the most diverse styles in the instrument. The new victim is Slayer!

The youtubers Rob Scallon and Sarah Longfield have released two videos playing the band’s hits, where they present their versions for a group of well-behaved and wreathed people.

The first, a cover of “Piece by Piece,” shows the musicians excited about playing the song – which was sensational, by the way. Already in the second, a cover of “Bloodline”, things run out of control and end in a bloodbath.

Slayer

Slayer is an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was formed in 1981 by vocalist and bassist Tom Araya and guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman. Slayer’s fast and aggressive musical style made them one of the founding “big four” bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax. Slayer’s current lineup comprises King, Araya, drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Gary Holt. Hanneman and drummers Dave Lombardo and Jon Dette are former members of the band.

In the original line-up, King, Hanneman and Araya contributed to the band’s lyrics, and all of the band’s music was written by King and Hanneman.
