Steven Tyler loses his voice and Aerosmith cancels show

Aerosmith was forced to cancel their concert on Thursday, 26th, in Las Vegas, after Steven Tyler lost his voice. The singer announced the cancellation of the performance, which would take place at the Park Theater at Park MGM where the band makes the resident tour “Deuces are Wild”.

The singer made the announcement in the social networks, saying:

“I lost my voice… but i can’t talk about it. Refunds for Thursday 26th of september’s canceled perofrmance will be issued at point of purchase.”

 

Aerosmith has 14 more shows scheduled in Las Vegas by the end of the year – one in September, four in October, seven in November and two in December. The group hired Beatles archive producer Giles Martin to oversee the sound in Las Vegas.

For next year, Steven Tyler’s band is guaranteed to extend the residency with another 15 performances in the first half of 2020 due to “extraordinary demand”.
